I had a lot of time to think during the fall...

...more than I had expected. Going outside drunk on such a dark and cold night was probably not the best idea. I told Chaz I just needed some air but the truth was I couldn't take another one of his crappy acoustic renditions of some shitty song by some shitty band that I'd never heard of but he swore would change my life. He lived on a high, steep, hill. Adjacent to his deck was a small unfenced yard, smaller than I'd realized. I took one too many steps. I rolled for what like seemed forever down the damp brushy hillside. The house ligths whipping by, grew smaller and smaller. I tucked into my thick wool coat instead of trying to stop myself, felt like an astrounaut. I figured the quicker I made distance from Chaz the better.
