My intial plan was to fool Ren into stepping out of his mind and back into reality as you know it. First, I had to get him into my head. It didn't work. He knew my every move. He also confirmed what I had feared initially, he is non corporeal, a disembodied consciousness. How does one beat pure thought that can choose any manifestation?
"You don't, babe."
"Should I just give up?"
"You may want to consider that option."
I felt my body coming back together, bones and hot wet blood. Then I could smell the cold, stale basement air.
"You were unsuccessful."
"Thanks for rubbing it in, Luna."
"According to most recent calculations, Ren will have drained the minds of our entire population within 6 months."
"Can't we just tell everyone to resist?"
"It doesn't work that way. Ren gets minds while they're unconscious."
"What if everyone just gets into your head?"
"Luna?"
"Processessing..."
She clicked and whirred for about six minutes.
"In the time allotted you could incorporate 134,789.395 minds."
"That's it?!"
