Luna and I were never meant to be joined but we came to the conclusion that it was the only way. Once her algorithm was part of my brain I'd be able to outwardly access the minds of the world. This still wouldn't keep Ren from absorbing everyone. What it would allow me to do however, was make a copy.
My mind was going to contain us all.
"This is fucking crazy."
"It's all we got, Zaley."
"Will he be concious?"
"By compeletion, no."
"I'm going to be the operating system"
"That sounds lame."
"We can begin when you are ready."
"I can't watch this."
"Well, there's not going to be much to watch."
"So, goodbye?"
"Ye-"
She kissed me good. Took a step back and left the room. I figured there would be more words but what do you say at time like that?
"Initializing link."
"Luna, will we-"
I saw everything. And by everything I mean everything. Within a few seconds the world and the lives of everyone in it flashed before my eyes. Life was turned into code and rebuilt inside out within the confines of my mind. Each rebuilt person acting as a link to the next, child nodes stretching out further and further.
The truth would never be known because it had been re-written. I then wondered if this had happened before and if perhaps the duplicates I'd been producing were just copies of copies. Maybe this was just the way of universe.
